Rick Wilson

Candidate for:

State Central Committee
4th Congressional District Central Committee
23rd Judicial District Central Committee

I am Rick Wilson MD, running for 2nd Vice Chair of the DCGOP. I was born in Washington State into a military family. We moved a lot, but I first came to Colorado when I was 12.  I attended Rangley and Alameda High schools where I lettered in four sports and participated in Student Council and “Boys State.”  After High School I attended CU at Denver, DU, and finished my undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of New Mexico. I married my wife, a nurse, in medical school and we now have three children and three grandchildren. I did my residency training in anesthesiology at Texas Tech in El Paso and at CU. My greatest single professional accomplishment was probably serving as chief of Anesthesia at Porter Hospital. I am also very involved in my church.
When I was younger I dabbled at ski racing and sky diving, but my main hobbies now are hunting, fishing, SCUBA diving and collecting antique firearms. I have been a PCP for over 25 years, and recently became the District 16 Captain after retiring. I am a life member of the NRA, Colorado Gun  Collectors Association, and the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society.
