Member of the DCGOP Family, Jan Waters, Has Left Us

Jan Waters, LPR class of 2008, left us on Sunday, November 22 at home with her husband, Rick.  Her cancer finally overcame her.  Jan was totally at peace up through her final breaths.  It is comforting for us to all know she was ready to go on to another place.

 
Jan was a true patriot.  She was a retired Lt. Col. in the Army.  She worked for Lockheed Martin in protocol.  She was a staunch conservative and a real lover of freedom and a Defender of Capitalism.  She was a wonderful friend.  Jan served the Douglas County Republican Party in many roles including Precinct Committee Person through the last election cycle.
